Piloting African trade
In the 1980s, Africa was in a debt crisis. In Nigeria, African heads of state came together to find a lasting solution that would support trade.
African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) was born. And for the last ten years, Chandi Mwenebungu FCCA has been group treasurer.
In his role, he mitigates financial risk and funding gaps – while managing the bank’s cash and liquidity. It’s a vital role, helping to do incredible things for Africa’s wheels of commerce.
