The farming network
Small-scale farming in Nigeria is a tough market. But one ACCA member has helped create an ingenious solution.
Akindale Phillips is co-founder and CEO of Farmcrowdy, which brings together farmers, buyers and consumers – to increase accessibility within the food chain.
424,000 farmers are now in the network across 36 Nigerian states. And the results speak for themselves: $15m worth of transactions have been traded on the platform, and income of farmers in the network has gone up by an incredible 68%.
