A commitment to the UN

Retirement, for Dr Suresh Sharma FCCA, looks quite unusual.

A trailblazer in Nepal – and the first ACCA member in the country – Dr Sharma has lent his professional experience to the UN for decades. 

He’s served on a pro bono basis on various UN agency committees – including the Independent Audit Advisory Committee of UNHCR. 

This involves helping to ensure that the UN is spending its US$10bn, funded by nations around the world, effectively.
