Championing credit unions

Grainne Murphy FCCA, CEO of Ballinasloe Credit Union, has made major inroads in raising the profile of ACCA in the credit union sector.

She helped set up the now annual (and hugely popular) ACCA Credit Union Conference. She’s also passionate about the power of credit unions in helping to find solutions for members who face financial difficulties through the cost of living crisis. 

It’s this commitment and hard work that has helped her become ACCA Ireland’s 2023 Advocate of the Year – and it’s an award well earned.
